About Pressotherapy
Pressotherapy is a device-assisted compression massage. An inflatable garment with multiple chambers fills and releases in sequence, creating a wave-like pressure that moves across the treated area. It is sometimes called pneumatic compression or device-assisted lymphatic drainage.

Clients book it after long periods of sitting or standing, travel, intense training, or simply because they want that specific pressure-and-release sensation. It suits heavy legs, temporary puffiness and recovery days.

What to Expect
You settle in, the garment goes on, and the chambers begin their sequence. Pressure is set for the treatment area and your comfort. The sensation is firm and rhythmic — closer to a deep compression massage than anything clinical. If you want the pressure reduced or paused, just say so.

The session runs 60 minutes. Because nothing breaks or resurfaces the skin, there is no recovery period afterwards. Most clients walk out and carry on with their day as planned.

Results & Recovery
After a session, legs tend to feel lighter, less tense and less puffy. If the area was carrying temporary fluid, the skin may look smoother for a while. Many clients value the release as much as the visible change — the two go together.

How long that feeling lasts varies. Hydration, posture, activity level and the reason for the puffiness all play a role. For ongoing body-care goals, a course can be planned around your schedule.

Safety & Suitability
Compression should feel firm and comfortable — never something you tolerate. Pressure is matched to your comfort and the treatment area, and relevant health details are reviewed before a course begins.

If you have a circulatory or cardiac condition, a history of DVT, a diagnosed lymphatic condition, are pregnant or have recently had surgery, speak with your clinician first and tell us before booking. Sudden, one-sided or unexplained swelling should be medically assessed rather than treated with compression.

Questions About Pressotherapy

How many sessions should I book?
There is no fixed number that suits everyone. Some clients book a single session around travel or a specific event; others prefer a course for ongoing body-care support. Start with one and see how you respond.

Is it better than manual lymphatic drainage?
They are different treatments. Pressotherapy uses an inflatable garment; manual lymphatic drainage is hands-on and performed by a trained therapist. They are not interchangeable when someone needs care for a medical condition.

Can I combine it with Endos Roller?
Yes, when suitable and when there are no contraindications to compression. Combining treatments does not guarantee a better result — we will plan the sequence around your goals and timing.

Is it suitable if I have lipoedema or a circulatory condition?
Suitability depends on your diagnosis and current care. Ask your clinician before booking and tell us about your condition so we can review whether compression is appropriate for you.
